Ralph Adamo
Ralph Adamo’s seventh collection of poems, Ever: Poems 2000-2014, was published by Lavender Ink. Previous volumes include Waterblind: New and Selected Poems (2002), and two of Lost Roads’ Publishers’ earliest books, Sadness at the Private University (1977) and The End of the World (1979). He has also edited two books of the late Everette Maddox’s poetry. Among his awards are an LEA Individual Artist Grant in 1998, the first Marble Faun Award from the Faulkner Society, a 2003 National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in poetry, and a Katrina Media Fellowship from the Open Society Foundation. He is Professor of English at Xavier University, where he also edits Xavier Review and Xavier Review Press. He previously edited Barataria in the 1970s and New Orleans Review in the 1990s.
