Jakob Maier
Jakob is a poet in upstate New York, where he received his MFA from Syracuse University. He is the author of the microchapbook Conversations (Ghost City Press 2017), and was shortlisted for the Metatron Prize for Rising Authors. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in the New England Review, Crazyhorse, Birdfeast, Gramma, Hobart, fields, Shabby Doll House, and more. He also serves as the Managing Editor at Peach Mag.
Jakob was shortlisted for the second annual Wallace Award from Foundlings Press. His manuscript, “Box of Swords” was one of three microchaps featured in the third installment of the Foundlings Strays series, alongside Richard Jackson and Ramón García.
